Today in class we started our unit on blogging. We brainstormed things that would be useful to have posted on the site such as pictures, schedules, contact information, recap of the day and HW information. We also came up with some ideas such as podcasts, students of the week, parent discussion forum and book suggestions that could be added throughout the year. We then used Rubistar to generate a 50 point rubric for this project with categories such as Attractiveness, Organization, Content, Requirements and Originality. Hopefully this project will be the first of many posts!
